Brake system
Our Green Scout has disc brakes on each of 6 wheels.
For all-terrain vehicles, it is simply necessary to have hydraulic brakes, since the manual effort is rather unreliable when driving off-road. Therefore, the Green Scout all-terrain vehicle has a hydraulic braking system. The brake fluid is located in a special reservoir under the hood of the all-terrain vehicle. The flow is controlled by cylinders. And the distribution is provided by a distributor, which is located under the hood and is attached to the frame. By pressing the brake pedal, we immediately block all 6 wheels of the all-terrain vehicle, due to which it can stop abruptly. By turning the steering wheel, we use a special steering mechanism that we have developed for this all-terrain vehicle. With the power of it, we can compress the brakes of either the left or the right side of the all-terrain vehicle, thus, providing turning and U-turning of the all-terrain vehicle.
